and their Friends The Special Forces M/C Supports the Florida Patriot

Wednesday,
February 28th started out as a cool and overcast morning. The ride to
Naples was pleasant. About twenty riders met at the home of "Bo"
McCormick (President of the SFMC) in Ft. Myers for coffee/donuts and a
pre-ride briefing. The group was comprised of members of the Special
Forces M/C and the Viet Nam Brotherhood. We rode together to the
Funeral Home in Naples where we joined other riders already present. |

When we arrived
at the Naples Memorial Gradens and Cemetery we were met by many riders
and guided to a parking spot. When the service began there was
approximately 60 bikes, trikes and cages.
The Marco Riders from Marco Island, the Defenders LE M/C, American Legion Riders, Rolling Thunder, Special Forces M/C, Viet Nam Brotherhood, the Enforcers M/C and some members of the national Patriot Guard Riders. There were also many civilians present. |

A flag line was formed and the family requested that there be no press
or media. The riders were tasked with protecting the family from the
unwanted attention. Family arrived escorted by the Collier County Sheriff's Department motorcycles and squad cars. They also brought their Honor Guard for the burial service. The service started at 1 pm. A nearby churchs bell tower, sounded the hour and half-hour adding to solem the atmosphere outside. |

We are grateful to SPEC Brandon Gordon for his sacrifice and pray for
his family. When Brandon's chopper went down in Shahjoi, Zabul,
Afghanistan we lost one of America's finest. Rest in peace brave
soldier you mission is complete. |
